What's Happening

I spent the weekend creating new displays to show off my necklaces. I created the displays from a bust pattern that I cut out of cardboard. I think spray painted the cardboard and lacquered it. Now I have created 6 displays that look a bit like stone marble.
On a different note. Over the next few weeks, I plan to begin placing information on different gemstones. I want to include the physical characteristics, the healing properties, common and uncommon form, and perhaps some trivia of each stone.
As I am taking a new class this semester, I will try to get this information up on a regular basis. But no guarantees on that. Time to get ready to head to work. Have a good day all.

Back and Running

It's been a while since I posted. Life has been busy, in fact I have a new job I am starting today. I also have been spending time with a friend of mine who is heading to Iraq next week. I also start html classes next week. With things like this, the blog and website have taken a bit of a backseat.
Anyway, I have updated the website. I have added access to two new categories: bracelets and two-toned copper wire necklaces. An About Us page has been posted, and I am currently working to finish a policies page and a return form.
I have been creating new jewelry too. I have yet to take pics, so it may be a week or so before I get it up on the web. At present I am working on creating pendants. There are so many ways you can create pendants, from the woven sculptures to the wrapped cabs.
I am also in the process of creating displays. Hopefully I will be able to make enough to start selling cash and carry near Raleigh, NC. I eventually want to sell at some jewelry home parties and maybe some shows.
